Posting just so that I don't have to see that clock thingy tick some more. 12 weeks my butt.

I'm tired of college and want to go home. But the people here are really nice, well some of them aren't but I don't talk to them because I'm so stuck up and so much better than them. HA HA.

Orientation was yesterday. A little bit boring but not terrible! Met some people, but I'm hoping to meet more in my classes.

I have speech first, then 2D I think, followed by Iconnect, aka College 101. I was looking up the number of students registered in my classes this semester and the art classes were the most crowded with 22! I have two classes under 10 at the moment. I wonder if that will be nice... or not so nice. lol

Played Ultimate frisbee for the first time tonight. Was a lot of fun even though the field was a giant puddle. There was April, Amber, Katie, Michael, Mike/Toad, AJ, Kevin? and some other people I can't remember the names of. Hopefully I recognize them tomorrow in better light.

This week has been weird! Twelve and a half inches of snow appeared overnight on Wed. so we didn't have school. And then, since Thur. was a scheduled half day, we didn't have school again! Friday even got a two hour delay. It's been nice. C:

Started my Figure drawing class today. Eh, it was ok. I hope I'll learn more, but I didn't have any fun today. I wish I was in the comic class with my friends. :C We always have so much fun... but I thought I would get a jump on college art and go the academic route. That's what I get I guess! xD

Ok, I watched Pride and Prejudice again tonight. It's now the movie I clean my room to. I say the words while I toss laundry in the basket. xD

Also went with my dad to the Arts Council meeting. It was kinda interesting to listen to older people talk about art without children being involved. They talked about setting up a permanet gallery, the upcoming Arts Go! thing, and the focus on project for local high schools. I was tired when I first got there, so I leaned against my dad's arm... and left white fuzzies on his blue suite jacket. All through the meeting I was trying to pick it all off. Probably not the best first impression, but I felt bad for giving him fuzzies.

CIA called today, just to check up and see when my portfolio was coming. Sent it off just the other day I said and that was it! The end of phone call. I wonder if I'll get in. Kinda hope to, but I know I won't go. It would just be nice just to not get a rejection letter. Have another portfolio review coming up on the 7th. Then another, and then another! And I'm applying for scholarships, yada yada.

I was going to rant, but I realized how stupid I was being and pms-y. So no rant today.

I've met with Mr. K about my mentorship at his publishing company. It's sounding promising, except for working in a white cubicle/office. Not so inspiring there. I could be creating up to nine illustrations for a story his company is thinking about publishing. Neat-o! My mom and I were talking about how awesome it would be to be a published illustrator before I even complete my first year in college. xD But that reminded me of how some other people I know are planning to head to Europe the summer before college to backpack around. I'm a little less ambitious or spontaneous, thanks.

Well, being a senior really does take up a lot of your time. Not that I posted before, but now it's really apparent. xP

Ugh, I completely forgot I had a test today in Human Anatomy until five minutes before the class. I swore under my breath for the rest of the time till HA started. Luckily though, if I do really badly, I can stay after class Wed. and re-take it. Yay.
